Bar Packages

Besides being a wine specialist, I have always co-existed within the bar space, whether it is fine dining service, events, or craft cocktail creations. 

If you find yourself needing more than wine service, I can offer a variety of bar packages for your event. (Legal disclaimer: I do not sell liquor and I work with hosted bars only.)

Brief note on my bartending experience:
My bartending experience is gathered from working many Mardi Gras seasons in New Orleans, to SXSW and other large music events in Austin.  After returning to Portland, I devoted a lot of time to studying the science of smell and taste, in order to create ingredients for my craft cocktail bar programs for David Machado’s Altabira City Tavern and the the opening of his Tanner Creek Tavern location.  The key to success at these high-volume, event-driven locations, was to establish systems for both quality and efficiency, and the same can be done for your unique event.

My encyclopedic knowledge of the most desired cocktails and how to make them properly, allows me to help make your event special and memorable.  Additionally, having a third party regulate the flow of alcohol lowers the risk of people accidentally over-serving themselves, and aids as a buffer in the event that a guest needs to be cut off.

Certifications:
-Alcohol servers permit for Oregon and Washington

-Level 1 Court of Master Sommeliers
-Level 3 Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET)

Terms of service:
Signed agreement (sent separately via Docusign).
50% deposit for services is due upon signing of agreement.
Remaining balance for service is due upon end of service time.

-Card (payable via online invoice, with the addition of 2.9% transaction fee)
-Reimbursement for any shopping will be notated in final invoice (receipt).
-It is understood that a 1099-NEC may be issued for payments of $600 and higher.

*Craft Cocktail Service:
The progression and excitement of craft cocktails is rooted in two concepts: fresh ingredients, and knowledge of flavor combinations.  There is a huge jump in quality when fresh juice is used to create a cocktail, instead of pre-made commercial mixers that are full of artificial flavors, preservatives, dyes, and other chemicals.  Most cocktail bars in Portland and the rest of the world, prepare fresh juice every day, even for the most simple classic drinks, such as whiskey sours, margaritas, lemondrops, daiquiris, etc. If you choose the Craft Cocktail Service package, your juice will be fresh squeezed the morning before your event.


*Custom cocktails:
Drink options can be created to fit the season, holiday, or party theme. If necessary, procurement of special ingredients will be arranged.  Through a quick consultation, we can discuss quantity and service style (Offered upon guest arrival, and/or offered upon request at the bar).
